Richart ParionRichart Parion on the right

On November 20, 2011, we lost our good friend Richart Parion in a tragic hunting accident, and he will be sorely missed by his friends, by the patient's of his chiropractic practice, and most dearly by his family.

Having trained and fenced on a champion high school fencing team in New Zealand, Parion was well equipped with strong principals and knowledge of fencing. After years away from competition, Parion exploded onto the AEthelmearc fencing field like a shot from a cannon during the first Steelbonnet melee. As he was then a Midrealmer and not permitted to fight light weapons required in AEthelmearc fencing melees in those early years, he fought with double dagger and demonstrated such proficiency with offense and defense so as to constantly occupy the attentions of those opposite him on the field. It was a memorable beginning that gave him a love for AEthelmearc and a wish to be a subject of this fair Kingdom. Having hit the ground running, he continued to present his friends and opponents with powerful performances, representing Baron Tomas and the Barony of Blackstone Mountain numerous times at the Seven Pearls Tournament. Over the years, he shared his knowledge gained from excellent professional fencing training, a highly competetive countenance, songs of humor on his 12-string guitar, and his skills as a health provider, all of which enriched the lives and experiences of all who had the good fortune to cross his path.

His good nature, sportsmanship, and friendship are noble examples of what we strive to be as people, and he will be remembered fondly by those who loved him.
